The Green Pig Pub in Salt Lake City hosts the Utah Poker Tour’s regular poker games on Tuesday and Wednesday nights starting at 7 p.m., and Saturday afternoons starting at 1 p.m. We are also the proud host for the Utah Poker Tour’s tournament events in which the Grand Prize trophy is awarded. Of course there are no cash games because playing for money in Utah is illegal. However, the possibility to win $60 in gift certificates for first place, $40 for second place, and $20 for third place make it all worth while. If you want to play in the Utah Poker Tour’s Texas Holdem’ poker games, make sure to get here early to get yourself a seat because it is always a “full house”. The gift certificates that are awarded to the winners can be used at the Green Pig Pub. If you get knocked out early, jump in on a side game to give it another shot. At the side-tables players are playing for the first place prize of a $20 gift certificate so even if your evening ends early at the main tables, your still not out of the running to get into the money.
